Sexting Research Paper

Sexting Students reflect the changes in trending behavior today. It is increasingly obvious in the area of technology. Teachers and administrators must keep up with these changes in order to know what the students are using. These advances in technology creates challenges in the classroom. The teachers must incorporate the use of technology protocols into their classroom management plans. The school leaders must implement consequences for inappropriate use of technology into their discipline plans. The stakeholders, including all school leaders, staff, and parents must understand the legal responsibilities technology brings with the allowing its use. There is an increasing trend among the students to engage in sexting, whether a message or a picture, and it is gaining momentum in the school system. For example, there was a discovery of an online page on social media with revealing pictures of all local students. The pictures were obtained through sexting back and forth among friends, eventually someone sent them the online page. This investigation had to be reported to the prosecutor’s office and a major plan had to be put in place to empower the students to understand the circumstances.
