When men hear feminism they probably think of hairy, angry lesbians who hate males. Forgive me; I’m not talking about all men, but a large amount. Society requires both men and women; we are all important and need each other and equality for all benefits everyone; children, adults, male and female. Since the beginning of time certain attitudes are drilled into each gender and gender stereotyping and the transmitting of sexist cultures is bad for boys as much as it is for girls. What if children are raised on ability and interest and are taught manners and respect and that what’s important is on the inside rather than gender, looks and appearance.
Men are supposed to have balls, right. If a man cries, he is not a man. If he doesn’t watch sports, he is not a man. If he can’t provide for his family, he is not a man. If he is gay, he is not a man. If he wears make up, he is not a man. Feminism isn’t about burning bras or being aggressive to get what you want, it is about people not being expected to live up to an unrealistic ideal person and that anyone who is different shouldn’t be bullied or ignored. Is he really free? He will have this burden on his shoulders for possibly the rest of his life whereas if the women also have a job then the burden is shared between them so both don’t have to worry about the pressures like if they had a sole income. Also what if the couple divorce, there will be added pressure than before as the woman will have to stay at home to look after the children and the man will have to pay his ex-wife and children
