“The laws in Saudi Arabia prevent the women in their own country to do simple daily tasks without the permission of either their husband or a male guardian.” (Hegarty) Why should a perfectly capable women have to ask to simple daily task that people take for granted? The women in their country that they are devoted too have to abide to these sexist laws and not have the freedom they deserve. In the Country of Jordan in the artiles it allows the judge to lessen the sentence of a man who murders any women in his family out of anger (World Economic Forum) Why should someone who is murdered out of anger be have to be unjustified by the law of their home country. “A 14 year old high school was raped by Jaime Melendez and was forced to pay $110 per week in child support for the unaborted child. Melendez lawyers later argued that he should deserve visitation rights. He gained the visitation rights and later stopped paying the fine.” (American Bar) The United States is portrayed as one of the great and thriving countries of the world.
