The survey basically rates with two scores. One score is the hostile sexism score, which means the negative feeling men have towards women. My hostile sexism score was 3.64 and that is very high compared to the average score of females in the United States, which was 1.60 and the average male survey for the United States was 2.24. The higher your score the more prejudice feeling you have towards women. The other score was benevolent sexism, which means your belief in the traditional gender roles like the males must take care of the family and the wife must be obedient. I scored a 4.18 in my benevolent sexism score. This score is very alarming. The average male and female score for Benevolent was 2.3 and 2.0 respectively.
Watching Anne Marie Slaughter video I realized how smart she was and the position and the job title she held in Washington. She had a powerful and high-paying job but she left all that to raise her kids and spend time with her family.
