When you ask me to speak in a proper tone or dress up accordingly to what is proper to you, it is sexism. Sexism is not being able to leave the house at a certain time and having a curfew. I have four brothers. They have no time limit to be out. Since I’m “a lady,” I should be home doing home chores not working. I have to be home before 9 pm because I don’t want the “society people” to think wrong of me. It should be my choice to come home whether at 6 am or 6 pm. Sexism is not giving me a choice. Sexism is injustice.
