Sex Trafficking Research Paper

Improved Essays
I will be discussing human sex trafficking in my research paper. As I was contemplating what topic to research, with sex trafficking in mind, I began hearing more about it on the radio and seeing posts about it on Facebook which has lured my interest to further research and to write about it. I’m interested in this topic because young girls who have been abandoned, rejected, and/or abused are being taken advantage of. Girls as young as nine years old are being bought and sold for sex; I’m interested in how such a crime is even possible nonetheless prosperous. Social media is listed as number one, of five hot spots for sex trafficking. I’m interested in how social media and sex trafficking coincide, considering the increase of social media
