Sex Trafficking Informative Speech

I found that there was progress in backing up argument with supporting facts in advocacy speech than the one I did on informative speech. Overall, credibility was established and position was clearly stated. To make audience feel that I am advocating to stop sex trafficking than just being informative on sex trafficking, I crafted speech in a way that information back up appeal, claims were made based on facts than myth, and society’s vulnerabilities were picturized showing dark side of human civilization. My research tried to cover risk factors associated with sex trafficking, victimized population and vulnerabilities associated with victims, cross cultural and cross-regional studies, studies of risk prevalence among people of different socio-economic status, communities in metropolitan, micropolitan and rural areas. Not only that I researched on how sex trafficking is emerging as an invisible, but a leading, successful and organized crime based business. Despite this, I also explored how we can put our input in defending this business from an individual level to public, governmental and international level. The research I did of course drag my attention to the problems and derive emotion and eagerness to join task force working against sex trafficking and contribute some to end this inhuman activity. I had not detected a severe level of urgency to combat sex trafficking before the research was done. Now I come to the point that everyone should remain aware of the issues and raise awareness to public as well. Not only that, I had under-estimated the victims’ population before the research, but now I can see large number of population are invisible but are directly affected by this organized crime.
