According to the United Nations Human Rights organization human rights are defined as rights inherent to all human beings, whatever their nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status. Across the world human rights are constantly being violated in and out of the spotlight of the news and it is often true that issues due not come completely into the light until either a person in high power is affected by the issue or through the work of an individual or organization. Often issues of human rights occur in front of individuals every day, making it “normal”, causing the issue to not be seen as a violation of human rights.
