With any teen and young adult aging 13-24, it is a risk trying to force anything upon them without rebellion. The program must be done in a very safe way where the recipients can open up with someone their age. There should be one large awareness meeting that breaks down throughout the day into smaller groups with a leader of their similar age to talk about how their life was affected by HIV/AIDS. Relatability is key for the people to begin moving towards the contemplation stage and ultimately towards action and into maintenance and termination.
