Really quickly I became friends with most of them, others took a little more time to get to know. I had a connection with both of the other pitchers, Noelle and Harlowe because we play the same position. I’m also quickly becoming good friends with my catcher Alyssa, as we tell jokes to each just to make each other laugh during warm ups. I like my new coaches better than the ones from my old team, they explain things better and they're all more helpful and nice. I have made new friends in softball and in school but sometimes I don’t see them as much as I would like too. This year sadly I didn’t have any classes with one of my best friends Tate. I think the song see you again by wiz khalifa represents my 8th grade pretty well because I dropped some of my friendships, took up a few new ones, and my family connection has strengthened. I made many new friends this year, or strengthened my friends I’ve had for years. Some examples of the people I’ve been friends with for a long time are alex colmenares, George kopendaka, and nick wilcowske. I haven’t done much with nick, but we are in a ski/snowboard club together, we both love being in the terrain park, grinding rails and flying off jumps. I’ve been friends with George and Alex for a long time, longer than I can remember.…

Right now some of my close friends are Maddie Tutwiler, Quinn Soberiaj, Sarah Kelly, Aanya Parmar, Lauren Sorabella, Kathleen Macy, Kayla Dibenedetto, Sofia Sauma, Ava Pratti, and Mary Kennedy. I also have close friends from my volleyball team such as Molly Pritchard, Inhye Kang, Abbie Ledoux, and pretty much everyone on my team. I hope that over the next few years I am still friends with most of these people, but also I hope to have made more friends. I feel that some people will change over the years. I already feel that I am becoming more distant from some of my friends from middle school because of sports and how I am not really spending a lot of time with people who aren’t in any of my classes or on my sports team.…

As an only child growing up in Clarence, Iowa, I at most times found myself playing alone in my backyard or sitting in front of my television, watching whatever we had on VCR. DVD players had already been out for years at that time, but with my father working as a mechanic in some random guy's garage, we could not afford to buy a DVD player. I had to resort to VHS tapes, but at least my mother would take me to the used game store(which also sold VHS tapes and DVDs)every once in a while. I became addicted to owning VHS tapes, even as a six year old boy and honestly, I still am to this day. My favorites were the movies from Tim Burton and the Disney films were my absolute favorites; I just could not get enough of Toy Story and The Lion King.…

During the first semester in my freshman year in high school, I never knew school club’s existed. All I knew was how to get to school and get as much experience as I could and return home. I did not have anybody telling me to join any school clubs or get good grades because I did not have an older brother or sister like other kids do. It was a terrible feeling of not having someone who can talk to you or inspire you to participate in school clubs but that all changed when second semester arrived. When second semester arrived, I made some friends, friends who tell me to join school clubs so my resume can look as good as a professional.…
