Liking girls is a natural thing. Sometimes some boys aren’t too good with talking to them. Sometimes we don’t really start to realize girls tell seventh grade. Well in these two stories Seventh Grade and Girls these two boys are falling for a girl but they are not good at talking and flirting with them.
In the story Seventh Grade there is a boy named Victor and he is just starting seventh grade and he is all nervous, but then he sees a girl named Teresa and he likes her. He told himself this is his year that she will like him. One problem is every time he talks to her he makes a fool out of himself. Like in French class he told the teacher he could speak French, but when really he couldn’t so he lied just to get the girl.

The way they are similar is that the two boys both are interested in a girl. Another thing is that they both can not talk to a girl that well. They have problems just looking at them. Then when they do talk to them they say weird stuff. Another thing that I noticed that was similar is that they both tried to impress them with something that they were wearing or by telling them that they could speak a foreign language. The last thing that was similar is that they both were not interested in girls before. Now for the differences. One thing is that they both tried to impress her with different things like one tried to dress up all fancy and the other boy tried to impress her by saying they could speak a different language, but he really couldn't speak that language. The next thing is that one of the boys actually took the girl on a date and the other one didn’t. Then the next thing that is different is that one was proud and confident in his flirting, but the other boy thought he was horrible and that he could never talk to another girl again. Last thing that is different is that one of the boys actually impressed the girl, but he had lied about his talent so he had to go and study French. These stories show that everyone is not that good at talking with girls so don’t be afraid to talk to the

Year 7 was hard, moving from a small primary school with just over 100 students to a secondary with close to 17 000 was a massive step. It was probably made even harder by the fact that that summer I had just gotten my hearing aids and was not used to being able to hear my own footsteps for the wind. I was bullied but now I question the intelligence of them as they would sometimes whisper behind my back and if I took my aids out, hay presto I could not hear them anymore, yay. In lessons, apart from the occasional few, I sat in the front, which was nice as it meant I could hear what they were trying to…

In both the novel and the film the narrator is naive, sensitive, very shy, does not have enough experience in life and she is from an ordinary family. Also she always feels fear and tension when something wrong happens or when she treats with strangers. For example, in chapter 1 she knocks over the pool of flowers, the waiter and Maxim come to her table to help her. Then she feels nervous and does not know how to deport herself with him.…
