"The Pedestrian" by Ray Bradbury introduces through setting the struggles of that artistic individuals encounter. Fear still resonates in Leonard as he "marches on, his feet making no noise on the lumpy walk." As the path is often unused, it hasn't been properly cared for. The physical setting shows societal opposition towards the path, hence it being unkempt.
