The Journey of Seth Blanchette Are athletes born, or are they made? Seth was not born an athlete. When he first started lifting in 9th grade 135lbs was a struggle to squat, but through hard work and dedication he made himself into one. Now he can squat 350 lbs or more. He is a sport loving and adventurous guy, as well as a dedicated and hardworking person. Over the years he has trained and achieved many of his goals. The best way to find out how he did this is looking at his past and the path that he has ventured on.
When Seth wasn’t playing Baseball he was outside adventuring for activities to keep him entertained. A fun hobby that Seth discovered while he was younger was throwing walnuts onto the roof of his neighbors houses. Some of the

He did T-Ball starting from the age of five. He continued with the sport and at the age of ten he was able to celebrate winning the little league baseball league with his father who was the coach of their little league team at the time. This was the same year that Seth hit his first home run during a baseball game. Seth continued on and tried new sports as he got older. When Seth Blanchette entered 7th grade he went out for football for the first time. His dad influenced him to try the sport out. Seth did try the sport, but he did not enjoy it much since he had never played football before, and he did not fully understand the sport. As his first year of football went along he learned more and more about the sport. Fast forward one year to 8th grade; Seth knew how to play football pretty well, and he began enjoying it. His football season went well until he broke his ankle during the last game of the season. Luckily his ankle recovered well, and in 9th grade he continued playing football and baseball. Seth enjoyed 9th grade football and the weight lifting that went along with it. However he did not like Baseball due to the Coach’s coaching methods. In 10th grade Seth continued playing football and he kept getting better by working hard in the weight room and while he was practicing. Seth not only played hard but he worked hard
