Different Worlds of Women

The outlook of not only the character but how the actors play the role are just as important because they understand who they need to be as acting. .Reading this has helped me understand why she is such an important character in the film, set it off and how she is strong even without though she was not feminine as an actor. Queen Latifah, “Her early raps are sometimes referred to as “feminist;” they discuss misogyny and rejection of negative female depictions(Sanchez, 65). The importance of a films’s representation goes directly towards the character and understand as to why they are acting as that persona because most actors have a reason to because they can relate. In the beginning of this film, the clothing what the girls wear throughout the movie are plain dark colors, corn roses, and gestures are part of the different perspective of what it being told in the film compared to other black gangsta films when black females are depowered. The dark colors shows the different norm that not all women wear bright body showing clothing. The lighting in the film does not differ either such as fading or making the black females not as important because they are the whole part of the film. With the gestures and physically actability that they do shows the importance of what the movie has to offer towards black women. They do the risky choices and reckless behavior just like any other black male in gangsta movies but in a female
