Service-Learning: Structured Reflection

Service-learning requires structured reflection and provides participants with an excellent way to promote persona, academic, and professional growth. Often times, administrators and teachers have students reflect through essays and journals. While this is effective, it is not the only way to reflect.
The goal of reflection is for students to gain a greater understanding of course content and civic responsibility.
