Carina ran away from an abusive relationship and trouble in a small town in Missouri. She doesn't trust the police, or any ma for that matter but winds up in Repose Texas. She starts making friends and believes this town is different then the one she grew up in but she isn't letting her guard down. Despite feeling an attraction to four brothers who represent the things she fears most, she falls for them. But she was a victim in more ways that she is willing to share and when she finally does, her troubled past comes looking to take her back. Her men must work together to help rescue her and believing and trusting their love ultimately saves her
