Serve God, Save the Plant: Serve God, Save the Planet is a book written by Matthew Sleeth. Matthew Sleeth is a former chief of the medical staff at some sort of large hospital. Thus, he was living the American dream. After customarily being encounter with patients who are suffering from things such as: cancer, asthma, and many other diseases, Mr. Sleeth began to wonder if how we as humans, are the culprit to all these different types of diseases. After turning to God, Mr. Sleeth the Bible demanded personal responsibility and stewardship toward the planet we live on. Thus, he began to implement various life changes for his own personal living.
In the book, Matthew Sleeth basically creates a manuscript to important life changes we all should consider, in hopes of saving the planet. On of, if not, the most important question that was answered for me, in the book Serve God, Save the Planet, how can I become a better steward of nature? This book done an amazing job at making me analyze the way my family goes about day to day. Not sure how much impact we may develop, but we have start doing little things, not only to save money, but to hopefully help save the planet. During this time in history, in Alabama, the last thing an African American man needs is being charged with raping a white women. Said time in history, was a time that wasn’t so pleasurers for anyone of color. Thus, Mr. Robinson was already guilty of his crime, in the eyes of bigot citizens of Maycomb.
