A REFLECTION ON MY VISUALIZING LEADERSHIP PRESENTATION ON DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Variety of ideas came to mind when I was trying to pick an object for my presentation. These included a flashlight, a toilet roll, a sponge, a chair and several others. However, finding a link between the nature of these objects and the concept of leadership was quite daunting. Therefore, I kept an open mind, hoping that I would get a more obvious object that embodies leadership to present on. My hopes came true during Efua Bainson’s presentation on tears as an object which symbolizes leadership to her. In her presentation she mentioned that she had to find an object that was personal that she could easily relate to. I asked myself this same question at that moment. What immediately came to mind was topics in computer science. I began thinking about the topics I have studied that I could easily relate to leadership. The

Relating CRUD to the concept of leadership, leaders should be able to reproduce themselves, communicate their vision clearly, grow themselves, and clean their mistakes respectively.
According to Robert Greenleaf, one of the tests of servant leadership is that, the leader is able to reproduce himself as in producing the spirit of servant leadership in others. To me, a lesson from here is to leave a legacy that will make people proud and want to follow my footsteps. Also, I should find a way of passing down my skills so that people can still benefit from them when I am no more on earth.
As a leader, I should have a clear vision and be able communicate it clearly to the people I work with. As Benjamin Dabrah mentioned in his presentation, people will not follow you if you do not have a clear sense of
