Servant leaders are selfless mentors. They empower their team by coaching them whatever the people require. It is through their words and actions these leaders coach their followers to develop as a person with all the vital skills (Economy, 2015). To be effective in this role, a servant leader should have integrity, which is one of the important traits of servant leadership. The servant leaders create integrity through the practice of their virtues and values (Ebener & O'Connell, 2010). They act with integrity by keeping their promise to others, to show their authenticity and credibility. So, these leaders are consistent with their words, actions, and morality.
