I believe that Harry Potter fulfills 9 out of 10 elements of the hero as presented by Otto Rank. Harry Potter's biological parents are James and Lily Potter so we can omit the assumption that his mother was a virgin with supernatural conception. In the last Harry Potter series, he was successful on defeating Lord Voldermort at the expense of his two father-figures, Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape.
