His main argument is that we should turn the other cheek to those that have done wrong and evil thins to us. The reason being is that if we respond with negativity we can only cause more negativity, which causes you not only to have an impure soul but can have an effect on those around you. I agree with this argument because there will be people in your life that will show negativity toward you and seeping to their level can make you just as bad as that person. The sermon was about two hours long and focused on their belief that unless one believed in the messaged of the founder Felix Manalo, reconciliation with God was impossible. I gathered that the INC is not a believer in sola fide, but strictly observes sola scriptura. They are resolute that only their church has the correct translation of the scriptures of the Bible, and I got the impression that only the church hierarchy had the knowledge and authority to make this interpretation.
