In the television series Dexter, a forensic technician named Dexter Morgan, was a specialist in blood splatter analysis for the Miami Metro Police Department. During his career as a forensic technician he also lived a secret life as a vigilante serial killer himself. He focused on harsh serial killers who had managed to slip through the justice system. He would target heinous criminals, such as those who caused horrible crimes against children, along with rapists, and serial killers for example.
