I walked down the corridor of the expensive New York apartment building, just wondering how I was going to talk THE SPENCER LITTMAN-HAYNES. The man who has taken on every near impossible court case and won, the one who survived a shooting, and well everything in between. I get to the door and knock lightly not wanting to disturb anything even he knows I'm coming, I waited a minute and nothing happened so I knocked again and little harder this time. The door opened and spencer was there "Hello are you Emma?" He asked. "Yes, and I'm hearing for your interview for the post," I replied. "Come in, come in and oh please don't mind the mess. I just got a new case and well it's difficult." He said as he ushered me into the lavish looking apartment.

Identifying the Markings of a Killer Richard Tithecott, an expert on Jeffrey Dahmer and the modern serial killer who wrote Of Men And Monsters: Jeffrey Dahmer And The Construction Of The Serial Killer, inspires the reader to imagine a young boy born in a small New Hampshire town with a population less than that of the average college campus. After reading the article “Serial Killer: Nature and Nurture. How Serial Killers are Born,” I completely agree with the author that the cause of crimes such as a serial killing, rape, and assaultive behaviors is the mix of both nature and nurture. If we consider a serial killer as a gun, then nature will be the bullets and nurture will be the trigger, and those two factors combine together and lead these individuals to commit horrific crimes. According to researches reported in the article, many of the serial killers are believed to be “born with different genetic makeup.” Unlike normal homicide, which are committed due to arguments and conflicts in some kinds, serial killers have a desire to kill and even feel satisfied and pleasure from killing…

A lot of people want to blame the parents of the offenders, asking “what did you turn your child into?” 36% of serial killers were physically abused, 26% were sexually abused, and 50% were psychologically abused (Mitchell and Aamodt 45). Many people have logically come to the conclusion that just because someone is abused, it does not mean that they will become a serial killer; or even a murderer; which is true. In the general population (people who have never committed murder) only 6% are physically abused, 3% are sexually abused, and 2% are psychologically abused (Mitchell and Aamodt 45). The dramatic difference of abuse frequency between people who are serial killers and people who are not seems evident enough to support that serial killers are created.…
