In the FBI statistics more than 70% of the serial killers had Alcohol and Substance abuse and any kind of abuse as a problem. Children being exposed to alcohol in the womb may lead to severe birth defects. But living and growing up in a home with any kind of abuse for the matter, is worse. It may lead to serious behavioral problems.
