Serena Jameka Williams was born on September 26, 1981. She is the youngest of five daughters. When she was a little baby her parents, Richard and Oracene ( goes by Brandy) had moved all five children from her birthplace in Saginaw, Michigan to Compton, California, a violent neighborhood.
