Lopez, Demaray and Jaco, (2014) express “Sepsis is the leading cause of death in hospitalized patients and has substantial impact on health care resources. An evidence-based project reduced mortality rates associated with sepsis through use of a nursing sepsis protocol.’ Unfortunately, Morgan Community College, offers an inadequate amount of sepsis education to our future nurses.
