With industrialization peeking in the late 19th century everything that was daily life was bound to change one way or another. These changes varied in affect around the country in both economic and cultural ways. The biggest difference in change came from the separation of the north and south, causing life to be vastly different in those regions. The northern states were more industrialized and the south lagged behind almost like a third world country. This lead to different problems, different solutions, and overall an almost completely different impact on both sides.
