Another hour passes.The dog sits home alone for hours and hours waiting for you to come back home. He or she waits at the window and barks at everything that passes. But eventually this gets boring. The dog needs you, or a buddy. Every home should not only have one, but two dogs. From past experience, I know that my dog sits and waits for someone to come home. She gets so excited when we come home only to find out that no one will be home hours from then. My household and every household needs two dogs so your existing dog won't get lonely. Dogs beings as sociable as they are, always need someone when nobody's around. More than half of the U.S’s pets are obese. 53% are dogs. The National institutes of Health states that children in a multi-pet households are less likely to develop allergic conditions. Also, a dog with an amigo to live with lowers the risk of heart disease. Also, dogs that were socially awkward or shy can benefit by having someone be around all the time. Did you know that your dog can be suffering from a chronic condition? Mutts and hounds of all sorts can be suffering from “separation anxiety”. Separation anxiety is a condition that occurs when dogs are separated by their parents or siblings. Dogs are pack animals and should not be left alone. dogs believe that they are the leaders of the pack. When you leave the dogs alone, it appears that you are the leader and it messes with the dogs emotion appeals and brain. Even so, thousands of dogs are abandoned every year due to health conditions. The owner abandons they dog because they do not know what to do or cannot receive medical attention. Separation anxiety is the 6th reason why dogs are abandoned. Understanding that opposing views may say that two dogs are twice the cost. 66% of users on debate.org believe that love is more important than money.
