The sculpture Triad of King Mycerinus and Two Goddesses, which resides at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, was excavated from The Temple of Mycerinus in Giza and was created between 2548 - 2530 BCE, during the reign of Mycerinus. Made from greywacke, an incredibly coarse, dark sandstone, this sculpture uses variation in texture, incorrect scale, and line to draw attention to King Mycerinus in relation to the two divinities, and thus is an example of royalty as divinity. Overall, this sculpture depicts the goddess of the Hare Nome, the goddess Hathor, and the King Mycerinus (in that order from left to right), all carved from a single block of greywacke. Additionally, this is an example of a high relief sculpture, meaning that the sculpture is…

The main elements of this painting are the blue, velvet hunting bag in the center-left portion of this piece, the white bird in the center, and the hunting horn in the center-right portion of this piece. When these features are shown together, they express that to the viewer that the owner/ hunter partakes in hunting mainly for the sport and entertainment rather than a means for survival. All of these pieces are of extremely high quality and are just placed down when the hunter is done. Barrier products play an important role in effective and protective skin care regimes (Nix, 2006). Barrier creams are protective products, designed to form an occlusive barrier between the skin and noxious substances, not to be confused with emollients which moisturise the skin (Voegeli, 2008). Overenthusiastic application of some barrier creams may reduce the effectiveness of continence pads by clogging the absorbent layer and causing urine/loose stool to pool against the skin. This causes hyper-hydration and leads to possible moisture damage. However, if barrier creams are applied in line with the manufacturer’s instructions, this should not happen (Bolton, 2004).…
