In terms of dressing themselves depending on the child and the environment they were raised in they might pick something that corresponds to their gender or is opposite. However children should not feel punished for picking out something to wear that might not correspond to their gender because you don’t want them to feel negative for expressing themselves. This is because there are so many dangerous things in the world that a child could get into such as sharp objects or poisons ones. Not only this but because children have so much energy they are constantly falling down and hurting themselves. Until the ages of two, children have not yet learned how to play with one another because of this an adult needs to be present to resolve fights and teach the children how to act around one another. Because of the fighting a child might erupt into a temper tantrum which needs to be dealt with right away by a teacher who can remove the child from the environment and have them calm down on their own.
