Senior year, the most useless year of highschool, wreaks havoc on our education system, allowing students to slack off and relax before college.The education system in the US has pushed students to work their hardest, in order to compete with other nations. However, the US has maintained the same 13 year format for education for decades. The necessity for Senior year has repeatedly been brought into question. Students should be allowed to skip the senior year of highschool, because they are already prepared for college and it is a waste of money.
