Senior year: The last year of school. Students are excited and have a lot of work to, especially if they haven’t yet served their 24 hours of volunteering. Seniors are rushing to study and complete their work, as well as combing through colleges. They need every minute they have to do their work, making community service even more of an unnecessary and unwanted time waster. As much as we hate it, Community service can have some perks. On page 107 paragraph two, it quotes "Participating in volunteer work can help students to schedule their time and learn to juggle responsibilities." But believe it or not, high school kids aren't circus performers and have no need for juggling.
