Your answer
Leadership is the process of guiding someone or a group of people toward a goal using wisdom. For me, it is the privilege of helping others to reach their goals. Leaders are those whom people go to for help, and the people who initiate positive change in their communities.

To appreciate the diversity of NCSSM and Durham as a whole, students should be given more opportunities to explore the racially and socioeconomically diverse community around them. As a student leader, I would help create those opportunities. For example, as an RLA, I would create hall activities involving trips to cultural events in the community. As a SIDE Leader, I would incorporate cultural issues and topics into my enrichments. In either position, I would prioritize promoting unity within the NCSSM community and beyond.

I learned how to do sound through troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as self conducted research and reading
Dealt with musicians, sound problems
I trained my peers who took over when I came to NCSSM Between 2013 and 2016, I lead my church’s youth A/V team. During the first year, I primarily taught myself how to operate the sound and lighting systems and use the presentation software with limited guidance from more experienced sound technicians. I acquired an intimate understanding of the equipment, allowing me to troubleshoot effectively and independently. In addition to running sound during practice and service, I also trained the new members of the sound team, who operated smoothly after I came to NCSSM. Through communicating with the musicians, solving problems, and teaching my peers, I practiced invaluable leadership skills.
Are there any disciplinary levels received at NCSSM that you would like to explain?
