Senior Slide In High School

For students everywhere, the infamous senior slide is what most hope for their last year in high school. Starting in ninth grade, countless of us strive to receive the highest grades possible. Not only staying up until midnight studying, but coming in early to ask questions, and applying ourselves in the classroom. Finding out first hand why senior slides are wrong, why taking challenging classes will pay off, and how it will help to develop character. As a high school senior, the greatest lesson to learn is always applying oneself. Many students become lazy and begin to slack off during senior year, especially after being accepted into a college. Leading up to the final year of high school, teachers begin to warn us about the senior slide.
