Last but not least I knew I was going to need A LOT of accurate research, which growing up with access to millions of documents online you would think it would be super easy getting this information, right? Well I don’t mean to burst your bubble, but it’s not as easy as you think. When you’re writing any type of paper you have to make sure that your sources are legible and unfortunately a prime example of an illegible site is wikipedia. Remember never use that site for information you never know who actually wrote the information for your topic. So to get the appropriate information I had to do month's worth of research to get all that I needed to construct my paper and with each article I read I had to summarize it in my notebook so when the time came to write the paper my information was right there already in my words. I realized that even though it was hard it was going to help me with my future assignments, it helped me learn about a new type of writing, and my own writing techniques. This being said, I learned that I have to create an outline for myself whenever I’m writing anything longer than a page and reread my paper to look for errors. I learned that a science research paper is completely different then an english research paper, because of the tone that you use when you are writing to your audience. When I’m writing a English research paper it’s mostly my interpretation of a book or multiple poems and sometimes a bit of background information about an author or time period. However, for a Science research paper you need actual data and evidence you can’t go off of your own thought or interpretation. For a english paper you are looking for evidence and data to construct your paper, but it’s not experimental based like a science research paper is. Although, they both have the same title and similar tasks involved in completing them mixing up how to construct the two could leave you in a low
