The senior democratic seminar class has not only changed me as a student, but as an individual person. With putting together the mock car crash and going to the Waupun Christian home, I have learned a lot about myself. In the beginning of the year I didn't think that SDS would make such an impact in my life. In the very start of the class Becca and I were thinking about what we could do to help kids around us. Then we thought about what we wished we would have been shown as a freshman or a 7th grader when we decided to pitch the idea of the mock car crash. We felt as though we knew enough people who have texted while driving and we felt that texting while driving is not only an issue in this school but all over the country. During our research
