On Tuesday, October 11, our senior class traveled to Fort Hays State University to sit in on a philosophy class focusing on bioethics. During this time we had the chance to listen to Dr. Douglas Drabkin discuss the act of being charitable, relating to various articles as well as videos. Throughout the dialogue we were required to take notes on three different senses dealing with the actions happening in the classroom. I decided to write down my observations on the senses sight, hearing and smell. One of the first things an individual notices are the details that one can see, including myself.
