The tone of a publication on a topic is paramount to one tactic that many publications use to keep their profits up. The tone is also dependent on the readers of a publication. Many people reading these news sites, regardless of political association, are against Senate Bill 6. The people that these publications consider when deciding the tone of an article covering this topic are the LGBT community and those who are tolerant or supportive of the LGBT community. Only a very small minority of readers are supportive of the bill, while many are against it for various reasons. The way that a publication talks about a topic can change whether people continue or refuse to read the publication. If the publication puts a positive slant on the bill, it would have mainly detrimental effects.
