Overall, the purpose of this lab is to find the ideal substance in which to fill the tires in a rover that will go into space ( Mars ). We tested the speed and total distance traveled for the control ball and the foam filled ball. For speed I thought the foam filled ball would go farther because it weighs more than the control ball, and for distance if the ball goes on the ramp, it will lose speed , and if it hits the speed bump then it will lose speed in total for both, reducing the total distance traveled. My hypothesis for experiment one was denied because the control ball went farther than the foam ball. My hypothesis for experiment 2 was accepted because if the hits the ramp/ hits the speed bump that it would lose speed. We did this lab
