Sam, I also did my research on seizures. I always found seizures to be a pretty interesting topic to learn about. I did not know that the most common neurological disorder seen in children is seizures. After reading this in your research, it made me want to look more into seizures in children. Did you know that one of the reasons children get seizures is brought on by fever? It is the most common seen in children. They call it febrile seizures, which is a seizure brought on by a fever. It occurs when children get an illness such as ear infection or chickenpox which usually is accompanied by fever. Research shows that there are many factors that affect if a child is going to get febrile seizures. Did you also know that babies can get seizures
