Selfhelp Reflection
Even though I had previously volunteered in a hospital, I had never gone to any senior center. To be honest, I was shaking even before I entered the room and my nervousness was at its all time high. As we learned in the Health Assessment class, elderly people normally have a hard time hearing and they have a short concentration span. Since the population that we were preparing to present to was from 50-65, I had this conception in my mind that they would soon get bored of our presentation and would make angry remarks if they could not hear us properly.
