Through this project, I was able to explore complexity of the change process. In the beginning I thought we just need to create the card and give it the KGH to utilize them. However, through the learning process, we were able to observe the process of distributing items at KGH and creating the card itself.

Our group recognized that nurses are the key players in caring and health promotion. Therefore, our group has decided to provide the tool to the nurses so that they can utilize the resources, resulting in safety for patients and nurses themselves. Our group immediately thought that this project was in need without identifying or researching the actual need of the project. Therefore, we were in miscommunication with many health care professionals in the beginning of the project. Also, in the beginning of the project, we thought that educational session for nurses would work for this project, not thinking that there could have potentially be resistance to change for the nurses.

I have participated in the QPR training to learn other suicidal assessment tool available and potentially help our group in creating nametag card. Also, I am learning to process of communication. As a group, our group has learned the process of communication with different professionals. By going though miscommunication process, we have learned to properly communicate with others.
