I would be inclined to view and appreciate a work of art that expresses self-expression due to the bond that is created through the artwork. By establishing a bond through this artwork, an individual is able to recognize that others are similar as well. The example that I chose to use from the textbook is Felix Nussbaum's Self Portrait with Jewish Identity Card. This artwork serves as a visual example of a self-expression oil on canvas.
