I think that painting is pretty awkward because of all the people behind him just having no clothes and I just realized that I have almost never seen any self portrait that has a gruoup of people as the background. So i think my painting is pretty unique in a way. I also find Eugene jackson’s clothes weird because he in a suit which is normal but he is wearing a suit with sandals unusual.. To me this painting does not have a motive like some are because the painters is depressed but this painting was just because he was in the vitalism movement(This movement focused on the human body health) Overall i think this self portrait is awkward and unusual but thats why I like it.
