Self -Evaluation of Professionalism
For someone like me school is very important. Since I was a young fifth grader I always wanted to be a professional social worker or a teacher. I always seen myself as a future social worker working with young children. I like working with young children because they are innocent and need protection. They are our future just like my generation is the future for my adults. Working with others you have to conduct yourself as professional no one wants to work with an unprofessional person. Social workers are supposed to help and be able to work well with others in a professional manner. In all aspects I present myself in a professional way in school and outside of school. I also have a better attitude about school and life overall. I will succeed in this career because, this is the only thing I am good at naturally without the schooling. Studying social work is just brushing up my natural skills to be legal to practice social work. The name of this class is Generalist Social Work Practice this class is split into two separate courses. I am looking forward to the second part of this course I am eager to learn more. This class was laid back and the work load expected was light but very informational at the same time. In class everyone was courteous to others everyone was comfortable with sharing. Everyone was respectful to one another, no one was judge. Sometimes I can be a quite person who sit back and visual observes their surroundings. I do not mind sharing my own experiences and viewpoints but there was not much room for everyone to share. When there are the same few people sharing I thought it was best not to continue to take away from class learning time so I did not get to share much. I should have shared more but there just was not enough time for open
