As Maxwell Maltz said cited by Edberg (n.d.), “low self esteem is like driving through life with your hand brake on”. Some things may be important but nothing is as important than to learn to love yourself. The students with studies that need to be focused on and assignments that are pressuring around them, they should be worrying less about their self worth. Even though self confidence is something that is hard to achieve but students should not let having a low self esteem be something that prevent them from moving forward. In a point of our life, everyone one including people the students look upon on has had a down point where all they wanted to do is give up, mentally and physically but without the down and lowest point, one will not have something to compete …show more content…
They have all the time in the world to mend themselves to strike as a better person, and most importantly to enhance themselves to be a better student. The students should take having low self esteem is a challenge for them to improve themselves and a way to understand them even more. No one is perfect and free of making mistakes in this world. As there is a saying by Kubler-Ross, cited by Edberg (n.d.) “The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving
