Hypothesis
For this particular study the hypothesis was explicitly stated. With financial literacy and financial efficacy being tested based on an economic education curriculum, the study hypothesized that with the use and implementation of economic education for battered women, these women could improve their financial literacy as well as their financial self-efficacy. This hypothesis assumes that the battered women who partake in this particular education seminar will have a stronger sense of economic education than battered women who do not partake in the curriculum.
Design Study The study was organized and administered based on a quasi-experimental design. This particular research design differs from a true experiment in the sense that it excludes from traditional random sampling. With that being said, a quasi-experimental design receives participation from a voluntary and more narrowed population.
