Self-driving cars, fab or fail? Google has announced the release of their self-driving car in 2020. Self-driving cars are essentially programmable cars that take anyone to any coordinate on Google Maps. the car will be equipped with multiple cameras to be able to "see" the world around it. However, all computers develop glitches. A simple computer glitch could be fatal on a highway. In the event that traffic laws must be ignored to save a life, will drivers be able to do so? Can we trust wires and microchips to do the job of human instinct? Legally, drivers are always responsible for crashes in some way. Who becomes responsible when the car drives itself? Self-driving cars should not be allowed on public roads because of safety issues, unanswered
