There are many things in this world that people have different views on, but this topic, is a very controversial one that causes a lot of dispute. If a person is a victim of rape, then they should have the right to have an abortion be one of their options.
This should be acceptable because most likely, the victim will have PTSD and having a product of that situation around will only make it worse. No one would want to have a child that would remind them of that horrible time in their life every time that they look at them. That would make the child’s life even harder, to have a mother disgusted by their own offspring. Also, the victim’s psychological problems, whether it be PTSD, depression, dissociation, or suicide, will have a negative effect on the child’s life. Questioning whether an abortion would be okay for the people who are in relationships that may not have planned to get pregnant but also weren’t careful enough to avoid it. And that destroying God’s works would be unethical no matter what the case may be, because we are all God’s creations.
