The hospital had a vision to improve the human condition through exceptional care, innovation, and discovery. There is no doubt that all the nurses shared and practiced that vision. However, it was evident that there was no effort by the organization to create positive and healthy environment for nurses. Letvak (2014) mentioned that it is important to maintain the health of nurses to deliver quality care. A study had shown that nurses are more likely to make medication errors, and there is higher incidence of falls and lower quality of care when they are working with pain and/or depression (Letvak, 2014). The positive and healthy working environment can be created by implementing programs that promote self-care, and wellness among nurses. It is important to promote the practice of self-care because taking care of oneself is important to maintain physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health (Williamson & Johnston, 2014). Williamson and Johnston (2014) recommended few self-care practices to rejuvenate and increase productivity, which include eating right food, exercising, sleeping enough, relaxing, rewarding self when a goal is achieved, and building a support
